The Promoter
- The Promoter is Higgidy of 60 Dolphin Road, Shoreham-by-Sea, West Sussex, BN43 6PB.
The Competition
- The title of the competition is the Six Nations Newsletter Giveaway (the “Competition”).
How to enter
- The Competition will run from 13th February 2023 (the “Opening Date”) to 11.59pm on 19th March 2023 (the “Closing Date”) inclusive.
- All Competition entries must be received by Us at the relevant posts via thekitchen@higgidy.co.uk by no later than 11.59pm on the Closing Date. All Competition entries received after the Closing Date are automatically disqualified and will not be counted.
To enter the Competition:
- Send us a photo of your Six Nations snack of choice.
We will not accept:
- responsibility for Competition entries that are lost, mislaid, damaged or delayed in transit, regardless of cause, including, for example, as a result of any postal failure, equipment failure, technical malfunction, systems, satellite, network, server, computer hardware or software failure of any kind or
- proof of posting or transmission as proof of receipt of entry to the Competition.
- By submitting a Competition entry, you are agreeing to be bound by these terms and conditions.
- The winner will be chosen by random draw from all entries received performed by a computer process on 20th March 2023 (“Draw Date”).
Eligibility
The Competition is only open to all residents in the UK aged 18 years or over, except:
- Our employees or Employees of our holding or subsidiary companies;
- employees of agents or suppliers of Ours or Our holding or subsidiary companies, who are professionally connected with the Competition or its administration; or
- members of the immediate families or households or (a) and (b) above.
- In entering the Competition, you confirm that you are eligible to do so and eligible to claim the prize or a prize you may win. We may require you to provide proof that you are eligible to enter the Competition.
- Only one entry per email address will be counted. Multiple entries can be made but will not be counted.
We will not accept Competition entries that are:
- automatically generated by a computer;
- completed by third parties or in bulk;
- illegible, have been altered, reconstructed, forged or tampered with;
- photocopies and not originals; or
- incomplete.
We reserve all rights to disqualify you if you conduct is contrary to the spirit or intention of the Competition.
The Prize
- The prize is 1 x Higgidy voucher, which can be redeemed up to the value of £5.
- Prizes are subject to availability. We reserve the right to substitute the prize with a prize of equal or greater value.
- The prize is non negotiable or transferable.
Winners
- Our decision, or the results of the Competition, are final and no correspondence or discussion will be entered into.
- We will contact the winner personally as soon as practicable after the Announcement Date, using the email address they used when entering the competition.
- We will never ask you to click on a link or send us a payment, accounts that do are fraudulent and should be reported.
Claiming the prize
- Please allow up to 5 working days for delivery of the prize OR if you are the winner of the prize, you will have 3 days from the Announcement Date to claim the prize by replying to our email. If you do not claim the prize by this date, your claim will become invalid.
- We will make all reasonable efforts to contact the winner. If the winner cannot be contacted or is not available or has not claimed their prize within 3 days of the Announcement Date, We reserve the right to offer the prize to the next eligible entrant selected from the correct entries that were received before the Closing Date.
- We do not accept any responsibility if you are not able to take up the prize.
Limitation of liability
- Insofar as is permitted by law, We, Our agents or Our distributors will not in any circumstances be responsible or liable to compensate the winner or accept any liability for any loss, damage, personal injury or death occurring as a result of taking up the prize, except where it is caused by Our negligence, Our agents or Our distributors or that their employees. Your statutory rights are not affected.
General
- Entrants are deemed to have accepted and agreed to be bound by these terms and conditions upon entry. We reserve the right to refuse entry or refuse to award the prize to anyone in breach of these terms and conditions.
- We reserve the right to hold void, cancel, suspend, or amend the Competition where it becomes necessary to do so.
- Personal data supplied during the course of this Competition will only be processed as set out in Our Privacy Policy https://www.higgidy.co.uk/privacy-policy/
- This Competition will be governed by English law and entrants to the prize draw submit to the jurisdiction of the English courts.
