Hygiene Supervisors – 4 on, 4 off

Based in Shoreham by Sea, we now employ circa 350 employees but we still have ambitious growth plans for the future.

We’re looking for a Hygiene Supervisors to join our Technical Team working 4 on, 4 off. We’re looking for Supervisors on our day shift (07.00-19.00) and our night shift (19.00-07.00).

As Hygiene Supervisor, you will be making sure that our food manufacturing equipment, factory, and office environments are cleaned to the highest standard through your team of Hygiene Operatives. 

You will:

• Ensuring sufficient staff are available to complete required cleaning tasks
• Ensuring team members work in a manner which is safe for themselves, their colleagues, and the food we make
• Organising equipment availability with Operations Shift Managers and Section Managers
• Organising Engineering support as required
• Identifying and closing training needs in team in a timely fashion– agency, new team members and developing experienced team members
• Support Team Members by holding regular 1-2-1s to identify areas for development, training, and improvement
• Complete return to work, probation, and performance management as required to ensure the high performance of the team.
• Identify and communicate opportunities to improve
• Completion of cleaning records for duties undertaken each day
• Carrying out Hygiene Sign-off inspections to ensure expected standards have been achieved
• To actively work as part of the Shift Hygiene Team – cleaning, not just Supervising

What are we looking for in our Hygiene Supervisors?

• Ability to work alone under own initiative, in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to prioritise workload
• An eye for detail
• Good standard of verbal and written English
• Level 2 Food Safety
