Ah, lunch. Quite possibly our favourite
meal of the day, and the first thing we
think of after finishing breakfast.
Does that make us greedy? More than likely.
If you’re veggie or just trying to eat less meat, then
good for you. The majority of what we make is
vegetarian, believe it or not, and we think some
of the tastiest recipes are made without meat.
Here are a few of our faves.
A well-made nibble will raise the spirits like nothing
else, which explains our love of elevenses and
foursies and whatever that one after supper is
called. Elevenses mark two?
A side dish, no matter how simple, can elevate a
meal to new heights. Time, or lack of it, will
sometimes conspire against us – but then isn’t
that what salads are for?
A table, some family or friends, just the
right amount of raucousness: these are the
beginnings of a stunning supper.
All you need now are some fabulous recipes...
We certainly don’t have pudding
after every meal (more’s the pity),
but now and again, when the time is right,
it’s a fabulous way to finish things off.
