We like Kitchen Cooking

Engineers might like factories but real cooks love kitchens. The development kitchen at higgidy is the heart of our business. That's where we dream up our new ideas and that's where we make all of our pies and quiches from scratch. We do everything on baking trays not much bigger than you would use in your own kitchen so we can really take care over each and every detail.

Camilla says...

But despite such a lot of pies and quiches to make each day we try as much as possible to keep the processes the same as if you were making just a few pies in your kitchen. For instance all of our pastry stars for our little pies are cut out, egg glazed, placed on top of the pie and sprinkled with crushed pink peppercorns by hand using just the same method as you would in your own kitchen (if you had the time!)..”
