Safely Back Home
We disembarked.relieved but shaken
Quickly all our bags were taken
And loaded back into the car.
We drove, but hadn’t gone that far
before, to celebrate being home,
We found a shop through which to roam
And find some wholesome food to eat,
To settle down and find our feet,
Safely back on English soil………
So may I thank you for your toil
For making such a tasty quiche……
The flavours that it did unleash!!!!!!!
Spinach for goodness, and pepper so sweet,
All amounting to MORE than a treat.
Moisture, texture, flavour sublime!
T’is rare on such delights to dine.
And thus, fully recovered and replete to the bone,
We continued our journey, and came Safely Back Home.
