Riche Quiche

A higgidy pie will go to your head
I met a West Sussex pie man
going to the food fare
who told me about his wonderful ware.
It’s the nouveau riche food
nutritious, delicious, and ever so good.
So down to Waitrose I sped for
a little spinach and roasted
red pepper quiche.
It’s better than any I’ve ever tasted,
so letting no time be wasted
I thought I’d write and let them know
that this little Hampshire hinny
would be proud to wear
a higgidy pinny
in celebration of its taste sensation.
