Ode to a Pie
When we discovered your Higgidy pies
we simply couldn’t believe our eyes,
and the taste, oh good Lord
so full and so broad
had us rushing to buy them again.
Now we’ve tasted the delicious cuisine
we tell all we know, if they haven’t seen
they’re beyond compare,
something truly rare
and worthy of golden distinction
We don’t want to fight for a decent portion
but size is an issue that calls for caution
There’s never enough
the incredible stuff
vanishes on touch with the table!
