I Scoffed the Lot!
I went into my local shop,
To find some food to buy,
And that is when I spotted it,
That little higgidy pie!
Although I am aged 28,
I’m only 5 feet tall.
So I won’t buy a great big meal,
I opt for something small.
To my surprise, when I got home,
I don’t live very far..
I saw that on my little pie
Was a shortcrust pastry star!
This made me smile, as I now knew
The pie was made at home.
But just how much it would fill me up
I never would have known!
I scoffed the lot, plus all the crumbs,
It didn’t take too long.
It tasted healthy, yet so yum,
And made me feel real strong.
So since this day, I eat these pies
I buy them all the time.
And I sincerely hope and wish
