The unctuously gorgeous, Higgidy Slice.
The pastry’s perfect, a crumbly puff
Crispy and light and filled with stuff.
Mine was a base of Cheddar Cheese
Caramelised onions, Oh what a wheeze
Italian Pancetta was woven right through
The final result? A wondrous Tableaux.
