"Fantastic pies, these are just the best pies I've ever had and the salmon and pesto quiche is heaven, as was the summer veg one with aparagus and peas and feta, yummy. Please can we have some puds too, and some sweet pies would be great, my mouth is watering already!"
"I just had one of your Smoked English Bacon and Mature Cheddar Quiches. Bought it 'cos the packaging attracted me. I felt it promised to be tasty. I've been tempted like this before though and been bitterly disappointed. So I heated it up in the oven. All those nice smells started to fill the kitchen. I started to believe that the promising packaging really might hold a true promise. I put a portion of the quiche on my lunch plate with come salad and sat down with intrepidation. It really did look and smell tasty but hey! How many times have you done that. Then you take a bite of the thing which looks so tasty and you wish you hadn't ! We've all done it. So the first fork full went into my mouth. Oh my, oh my, It really did taste of the Bacon and the cheese or was that just heaven ? No I'm sure it was the Bacon and the Cheese. It was not just that though, the blend is very well calculated to get just the right amount of each. I've never tried your foods before. I shop exclusively at Sainsbury's. So I will be going there again very soon to get some more. I know this quiche was meant for more than one person but my husband didn't get a look-in ! Well done all at Higgidy. I do hope you experiment with sausage rolls because there are none around that taste of sausage meat. The last one I tried was at a motorway services. The filling had the texture of meat paste but it tasted like wallpaper paste. The last decent one I had was from a baker in Liverpool where I grew up and that was many years ago. So please have a go at one. Well done on taste, texture, freshness, quality, purity and presentation."
