Hallelujah! The much coveted Christmas Number One slot goes to? No, not Alexandra Burke (not even Jeff Buckley or Leonard Cohen), but higgidy made it to Christmas Number One on 26th December 2008! The Independent chose higgidy pies to take the prestigious top place in their "50 Best Winter Treats" supplement! I think you'll agree it was the perfect Christmas present for our hard working higgidy cooks! "Hallelujah, hallelujah..."
