On the 5th of June, we’ll be joining in the nationwide festivities of "The Big Lunch". You can't beat a bit of old-fashioned community spirit so we'll be taking the little higgidy kitchen out to the grassy bit of the Old Steine in central Brighton (just outside St. Peter’s Church - see here on the map). There’ll be pies (for free), fun and games and hopefully some sunshine.
We're going to bring the pies for free but we'd love people to get into the community spirit of things and bring a pudding to swap and share. We're going to have a fancy pudding competition so if you fancy yourself as a dab hand at cooking then get your creative juices flowing. Also you might want to bring a picnic blanket and something to drink. We’ll be kicking off at about 12.30 and running on till about 3.00ish. We are going to make sure we bring lots and lots of pies but it still good to make sure you get down in good time to make sure we haven’t run out. We look forward to seeing you there...
