Check out the vibrant belles who enjoyed the latest higgidy lunch. Queen Sue, Lady Crystal Lemming and Princess Paddi la Plonquere and the 'Red Hatters' of the Isle of Wight are not your normal grandmothers.
There are part of a Red Hat Chapter, a community of vivacious women who are dedicated to enjoying their fifties (and beyond) by indulging the fun and frivolous child that still lives within. This month (in their normal pink and purple regalia) they enjoyed a right royal feast as they were the latest attendees of the higgidy lunch thrown in their honour! You can imagine that it doesn't take a lot to brighten the atmosphere when these women are around. They aren't known for letting a party fizzle out, so they definitely showed the way to enjoy a higgidy pie - with a gaggle of conversation and a barrel-load of laughter!
