James and Camilla took a trip to Seattle recently on a pie discovery mission. They visited little markets full of excitable, whooping Americans, and rode on a Duck, a sort of amphibious adventure vehicle. The highlight of the trip for James was a visit to a rather unusual pie company, High Five Pies.
After sampling a jar pie (literally a tall thin pie, in a jar, with a lid) James moved on to the pie pops, little tiny pies on sticks. James was impressed, but he prefers his pies a little larger.

Yes we encountered your pies at Booth’s Supermarket in Keswick, Cumbria. We were so pleased. We bought several during our two weeks there. As soon as we saw they were Higgidy, we had to have them. Yummy.
