We think it is important to know where your food comes from. So we thought we should introduce you to the farm that rears the pigs for our free-range pork.
The healthy looking chap in the pink shirt is called Mark Hayward and he is the farmer from Dingley Dell farm in the beautiful Deben valley of Suffolk. With a name like “Dingley Dell” where else could we go for a ‘higgidy’ sausage meat - its like one big nursery rhyme!! Mark and his team rear and breeds their pigs outdoors which and they are part of the non-profit RSPCA Freedom Food scheme that certifies that animals are treated well. Most importantly of course, the pork tastes great - as you may testify if you've enjoyed a Free Range Pork Sausage and Mash Pie.
