Instead of our normal 'higgidy lunches' this month we also did a 'higgidy breakfast' with the BBC! Although some people may eat pies for breakfast, it is not normal behavior.
But when Neil Pringle the DJ from BBC Southern Counties Breakfast Radio decided he had heard so much about higgidy that he wanted to try for himself we whisked some out of the oven and dashed straight over for a live on-air tasting! It caused much excitement in the studio and they were very interested in hearing more about the story of the higgidy cooks from Shoreham-by-Sea.
