Alan's Snowy Adventures

A^la^n's Sno^wy^ ^A^dven^tu^res

3rd of December 2010

Alan is the unsung hero of higgidy. Every night when the rest of us are slipping into bed Alan drives the truck that takes all our freshly made pies off to the shops and supermarkets. Without Alan you would probably never have tasted a higgidy pie or quiche...

During the snowy weather this week Alan has been particularly clever. Even when the roads have frozen over, Alan has found a way through. When all the other lorry drivers got stuck, Alan still delivered the pies on time. On one night he even needed the help of a friendly snow-plough to push him up the hill – but he still delivered his pies.

Alan has been with us for over four years now and in that time he has seen the company grow from Camilla and James in one room to the big higgidy kitchen we have today. We're very pleased to know that, after taking such care making them, our pies are in such safe hands.

Have you been having any snow adventures?

Hello Higgidy kitchen. Not a snow adventure but a big thank you to all of you working and in Alan’s case driving through the bad weather. my kids have requested higgidy pies as part of the children’s Christmas menu so all your efforts are much appreciated as we will be heading out tomorrow to stock up :)
