This month we hunted out our little black dresses and dusted down our musty tuxedos to attend a glitzy 'Quality Food Awards' ceremony up in London with the movers and shakers of the food world.
With feathered dancers, snow machines and champagne cocktails it wasn't much like a normal evening in Shoreham-by-Sea ! But it all got very exciting when the music stopped and the spotlight fell on our little group of pie-makers from Sussex and higgidy won 2 fancy awards! Our Sausage & Mash Pie won the 'best pie, pizza or pasty' and our Moroccan Vegetable & Feta Pie won the 'best vegetarian product' of 2008. We're glad to be back down in Sussex again but we've got our stylish glass trophies to remember our swanky night out!
