A day of exams!

Making pies is not all fun and games! Sometimes we have to pass very very strict exams to prove that we are making them safely and hygienically.
So we had our very official annual exam (BRC) at the higgidy kitchen this week! It's quite frightening - imagine someone coming into your kitchen to make sure that there wasn't a speck of dust on top of the cupboards and that you always put the lid properly on the marmalade jar! Except for us it's 100 times harder than that! So you can imagine we were all pretty nervous and on our best behavior! The great news is - after a whole day of inspections and difficult questions we not only passed but were given a grade 'A'- that's like being top of the class! It was big smiles all round - and three cheers for Bryce and Annie who did much of the hard work to make this possible - hip, hip, horray!
