Seeded shortcrust pastry stuffed with mature cheddar & sautéed onions in a creamy free range egg filling, topped with smoked English bacon lardons.
Our Little Quiches are 'made for summer'. They make perfect picnic food but we love warming them in the oven or even wrapping them in some tin foil and popping them on the bbq for a few minutes. Make this quick simple summer salad and you have a stunning meal literally ready in minutes!
- Two generous handfuls of each of sugar snap peas, mangetout peas and shelled garden peas
- A generous handful rocket leaves
- 3 tbsp good quality olive oil
- 1 tbsp white wine vinegar
- 3 tbsp good quality fresh basil pesto (we like Stark Naked)
- Freshly ground black pepper and a little rock salt
To decorate
- Shavings of parmesan cheese
- A handful of toasted pine nuts

Drain the peas and dunk in cold water. Drain again. - Place the peas in a shallow salad bowl with the rocket leaves.
- Mix all the remaining ingredients together and pour over the peas and rocket. Toss.
- Top with shavings of parmesan and toasted pinenuts.

Simply put this was the tastiest quiche I have eaten. Ample size for lunch and deep filled none of this 98% crust 2% filling nonsense. The bacon was a strong tasting part and left no questions as to it’s obvious quality. Keep making those quiches!

My husband is away working this week (he is a professional freelance musician so this can often happen) so I bought my first higgidy little smoked bacon and cheddar quiche for my lonely meal for one. I really didn’t have very high expectations based on previous experience of mass produced quiches, but I would like to say it was DELICIOUS! My only slight concern would be the high fat content 33.8g, but I guess this is the reason it is so tasty. I usually bake my own quiches, but in future will probably buy yours when I’m on my own, so thanks!

oh my goodness. I’m not usually one to write to companies about their products but I felt i must today. I had one of your quiches as part of my Boots meal deal today (ham and parsley topped) and it was out of this world! I’m always dissapointed with quiches that are shop bought as they are a bit wishy washy, not a lot of flavour or filling……. but yours was fantastic. Lots of lovely filling, great seasoning, great texture, fab pastry and a witty little cover that kept me entertained as i ate¬!!!!
